Advance Australia Fair…
By Carl Becker
Over the last month I have attended three Christian School Conferences in Australia promoting our game that we are building for Middle-School aged students. I enjoyed many interesting conversations particularly with mothers who have boys who just love playing computer games. These mums appeared to be relieved that there was now a Bible Game coming, making playing online games feel more legitimate. One of the joys of sharing our game project is seeing such teachers get excited not only for their own children but also for the students in their classes.
Gaming is such a growing activity in children’s lives, adults can’t ignore such fun experiences as irrelevant. Our game is being designed to be just as fun as any other contemporary game. The difference being is that our story, is an old and compelling story. 2ndcity Studios believes that our game will be so much fun to play, participants will keep coming back and begin to grasp the love of God for His world. It is our prayer that this love will impact them and cause them to live their life in the real world as a 21st Century agent of God’s love to a broken world, rather than for themselves.
Aspirational ? Yes.
Worth doing? Absolutely!!!
